Where do the exchange rates come from?

Live rates come from Frankfurter (frankfurter.app), a free service publishing European Central Bank reference rates - no API key or account needed.

How current are the rates?

ECB reference rates are updated once per business day, so they're suitable for everyday estimates but not for real-time trading decisions.
